Google Juice VS Orange Juice

April 10th, 2007 | admin

Sure orange juice can provide you with calcium and vitamin, but “Google Juice” privides you with more than that and it’s far more addicting and yet satisfying if you can get some. Of course, “Google Juice” isn’t as easy to get and will cost you a lot more than Orange Juice.

Well, what is “Google Juice”? It basically comes down to the quality of incoming links a site has and the value Google gives in terms of PR to that site. That site can be linked to yours and therefore giving you some juice. The amount given depends on how much it has to start with and also how many others outgoing links the site has other than yours. If there are 5, then you are sharing the juice with those other 5. If there are 10, then the amount of juice you get is even less (think of sharing Orange Juice with 10 others). The juice you get from that site will be added with others you get from other site linking to you, therefore adding up your juice for your site.

The idea is to be linked from a quality high PR site with less outgoing links and your “Google Juice” will do you more good.

Mac Pro is here

Finally, another MAC - and this time it’s with 8-core Xeon. My husband can’t wait to get one since he deals with video editing a lot. I on the other hand would like one, but I prefer my laptop (which I can’t live without…seriously).

Apple is great and always comes out with the coolest things and sleekest looking things. Their iPhone is something I would love to try out, but I don’t know about actually using one. The price tag is $499 I believe and you have to wait until summer to get your hand on one. You also have to use Cingular if you decide to get one. So switching cell phone companies isn’t something I want to deal with either. I’m quiet happy with Verizon for now, and have been for years. It would be nice if Verizon would carry iPhone, but I’m sure Cingular made an exclusive deal with Apple.

We also just got the Airport Extreme and now we can hook up an external drive using USB and have a wireless backup drive. What’s next on the to try list: maybe the Apple TV.
